Your gift to the Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute:

  • Encourages students to pursue higher education by offering financial aid through the creation of grants and scholarships.
  • Sponsors co-curricular activities, programs, and events on and off-campus to enrich student’s understanding of the Latino culture, including, performances, films, trips to museums, and as of 2012, travel abroad, to expose our students to the larger world.
  • Promotes research and in-depth studies of the Latino experience with emphasis in the arts, sciences, and business
  • Supports “Encuentros,”one-of-a-kind encounters with intellectuals, well-known personalities and artists.
  • Furthers the mission of the Unanue Latino Institute to shape a new generation of Latino leaders by creating programs to give back to the community in affiliation with Habitat for Humanity and DOVE (Seton Hall’s Division of Volunteer Efforts).

Donations to the Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute can be designated for:

  • Supporting scholarships to students who show an appreciation for the Latino/Hispanic culture
  • Furthering the cultural programs of the Unanue Latino Institute
  • Other purposes, such as tributes in honor of memory of someone, and/or establishing an endowment for a specific purpose
